Did you know that Lake Oswego Junior High School (LOJ) is producing James and the Giant Peach Jr? James and the Giant Peach Jr uses the acting and music skills of the students of LOJ and under the guidance of Ms. Pecoff, LOJ’s drama teacher. Dr. McKiernan, LOJ’s choir teacher, helped with the music that goes with the production.
The musical is about James, an orphaned child living with his two aunts who treat him terribly. James then embarks on a journey with his insect friends who live in a giant peach, to their destination, New York City. Along the way, James has many adventures and goes on the trip of a lifetime.
This play is going to be shown four times. The dates are:
- Thursday, February 3rd, 7:00 PM
- Friday, February 4th, 7:00 PM
- Saturday, February 5th, 2:00 PM
- Saturday, February 5th, 7:00 PM
